FA Euro Pairs with Children of Change

FLUSHING MEADOWS, NY--On August 3rd, 2017, FA Euro did something special for children in the New York City Metropolitan area, by teaming up with Children for Change and Long Island Magazine, to give children school supplies to those who are unable to some of their own.

PDL Players Adam Marcu, Zhurabek Khusanboev, Assistant Coach Niko Laci, and General Manager Joey Jarzynka lent a helping hand to Sean McCaffrey, Yair Bollanos and their staff to hand out pens and notepads to children in the age group of 5-8 years old on the Bolanos Soccer Academy.

Bolanos Soccer Academy is based in Flushing, and play all of their home games in the heart of Queens, at Flushing Meadows Park. Yair Bollanos, the head coach and founder of the organization told Long Island Magazine, "Thank you guys for being here tonight, it was a pleasure for me to have you, and I hope these events keep happening. Theres nothing else I can really say other than Thank you so much, and I hope to see everyone back here again soon."

Joey Jarzynka told I-95 Sports Network, "I am so proud of these children, who love the game of soccer, and want to be out here on a summer night, instead of being in a pool. They're getting exercise, and learning the game they love at such an early age. They should be very proud and I wish them all the best academically, and on the field as well."

All coaches and even the GM participated in a youth scrimmage that had everyone including parents smiling in the crowd. A few of the children wanted photos with the players, so our guys were nice enough to make their night by doing so.

Adam Marcu told Long Island Magazine, "We are excited to be here tonight, and help out for a good cause" Other participants in the scrimmages, were Assistant PDL Coach Niko Laci, and PDL Forward Zhurabek Khusanboev. The club expects there to be more participation between Children for Change and the Euro Football Organization moving forward. "I look forward to getting this partnership off the ground, its a great cause!"
